Today, the man, the myth, the legend Alex G announced a new album called Live From Union Transfer, which is a limited edition, vinyl-only live record due out June 30 on Domino Records. That's right, you can only listen to this bad boy (limited to 3,500 copies on tangerine vinyl) on a sick record player setup.
Live From Union Transfer was recorded over the course of three sold-out hometown shows at Philadelphia’s Union Transfer in the fall of 2022. The 14-song tracklist features live renditions from his God Save the Animals tour with his longtime touring band, featuring John Heywood, Sam Acchione, Tom Kelly, and Molly Germer.
