Levi Strauss & Co. was founded in 1853, making 2023 the brand’s 150th anniversary. While Levi’s will be celebrating the momentous occasion all year, they’ll be bringing the party back to their birth city by launching a free immersive activation at San Francisco’s historic Skylight at the Armory.
Open to the public from May 19 through May 27, the 501 Experience will feature special performances by local Bay Area luminaries including DJ Shadow, Toro y Moi, mxmtoon, Tune-Yards, Tommy Guerrero, and Tony MF, as well as an archival museum, opportunities for custom pieces, and a hometown marketplace.
FLOOD FM’s own Aaron Axelsen will be DJing the event on May 20 and 21. More info is available here, and you can find the rest of the event’s lineup below. Admission is free, but based on capacity.
