Spoon released their 10th album Lucifer on the Sofa last year, which, vocalist Britt Daniel explained to us in our digital cover story with the band, was inspired by growing up listening to classic rock on the radio. But it turns out there's a few leftover ideas from the recording sessions, which the group has polished up and will be putting out as a small EP titled Memory Dust.
The three-track EP, which is out June 13, features two original songs and a cover of Bo Diddley’s “She’s Fine, She’s Mine.” Along with the announcement they shared on of those two new singles, "Sugar Babies," which you can check out below. The EP release will be immediately followed by a set of UK/European dates with The Black Keys and US dates with Weezer—you can find those listed here.
