LA-based hardcore group Militarie Gun are dropping their debut album Life Under the Gun on June 23 via Loma Vista. Today, they shared a new single from the collection called "Will Logic" and a video by band member Will Acuña. The new single opens with a violent realization that a so-called friend has ulterior motives. "I can see you," Ian Shelton sings in his signature gravelly voice. "I can see the knife in hand." The resulting chorus is bruised with regret: "Why'd I have to call you friend?"

“'Will Logic' is meant to be pure spite, it’s the moment of realization that someone is trying to take advantage of you and deciding you won’t allow it to happen,” Shelton shared in a press statement. “There’s some melancholy and fatigue in there though, ultimately it’s a desire for the world to be trustworthy.”
