Queens of the Stone Age have returned with “Carnavoyeur,” another single that will be featured on the group’s upcoming album, In Times New Roman... The new LP is set to arrive on June 16 courtesy of Matador Records.
On the new single, which follows “Emotion Sickness,” the band conjures up a smoldering slab of funk-leaning rock. Massive drums and scratchy guitars back Josh Homme’s instantly familiar voice, leading to a chorus that’s equal parts psychedelic freakout and stadium-ready epic.
On the eve of In Times New Roman’s... release date, fans are invited to celebrate the album’s release at Midnight Club parties taking place in record shops and pubs across 23 countries. The Midnight Club starts at 11 p.m. local time on June 15 and will feature giveaways, exclusive merch including limited edition colored vinyl, and—in a few select locations—signed merchandise and ticket giveaways.
