Laetitia Tamko, a.k.a. Vagabon, announced her new album Sorry I Haven’t Called today. The project is set to be released via Nonesuch Records on September 15, and to celebrate the news, Vagabon has shared the project’s first single “Can I Talk My Shit?,” alongside an accompanying video directed by Zac Dov Wiesel.

The album was co-produced by Tamko and Rostam, and the lead single is an electrifying psych-pop jam full of bouncy basslines, sunny melodies, and rubbery percussion that all work in tandem to bolster Vagabon’s observations—ideas that reflect her inspiration for this album: “I didn't feel like being introspective. I just wanted to have fun,” said Tamko.

She added, “This whole record is how I talk to my friends and how to talk to my lovers. I think honesty and conversational songwriting can become poetry. There’s beauty in plainly speaking without metaphors and without flowery imagery.”
