Austin’s iconic Levitation festival has announced the lineup for its four-day event, set to take place over Halloween weekend (October 26-29). The multi-venue format encourages fans to choose their own adventure through the weekend, with ticket offers ranging from single-show passes to four-day experiences.
Highlights of the first wave of performers include: a 15-year anniversary celebration of Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder label, featuring Fly Lo, Hannibal Buress’s Eshu Tune, Salami Rose Joe Louis, and more. A 20-year celebration of revered indie label Numero Group featuring '90s greats Unwound, Codeine, Karate, and Chisel. A psych-rock-themed lineup featuring The Brian Jonestown Massacre, fest founders The Black Angels, Dandy Warhols, and more across two stages at Far Out Lounge. Additionally, Friday at Far Out brings Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Panda Bear + Sonic Boom, Allah-Las, Tanukichan, and more.
Other lineup and show headliners include BADBADNOTGOOD, Oneohtrix Point Never, Durand Jones, The Church, Blonde Redhead, Mercury Rev’s Clear Light Ensemble performing a live score to the 1932 classic horror/noir film Vampry, Death From Above 1979, the return of Alan Palomo (Neon Indian), Jockstrap, Armand Hammer, and more.
