This year, iconic indie-rock outfit Grandaddy are celebrating 20 years of their 2003 LP Sumday, a celebration which kicked off in May surrounding the record’s anniversary when Jason Lytle and company announced a four-LP box set featuring a remastered version of Sumday along with demos and other goodies. One such set of bonus materials is the album-length collection of B-sides Sumday: Excess Baggage, which sees an early digital release on August 25 via Dangerbird Records, who are spearheading the whole reissue rollout.

In the meantime, the band is swinging through FLOOD FM to deliver a new episode of “Hacked” which sees them recounting some of their favorite tracks from 2003, ranging from the ubiquitous “Hey Ya” to alt-rock radio faves by Snow Patrol, The Shins, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, to a pair of Sumday cuts. Tune in here to catch the full episode when it airs every day this week (July 17 to 21) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PT only on FLOOD FM.
