The past couple weeks have been eventful for Local Natives, between the release of their fifth studio album Time Will Wait For No One and a pair of intimate evenings at LA’s Ford Theater in which the band performed their sophomore album Hummingbird front to back in honor of its tenth anniversary. And they’re showing no sign of slowing down—today they’ve revealed a new version of their single “NYE” (which first arrived back in May with news of the new record) featuring Suki Waterhouse on vocals.
“I’ve been a massive fan of Local Natives for a long time and it was such a fun experience to be in the studio with them,” the songwriter/actress/model shared of the experience. “I’m so thrilled that I got to sing on this record with them.”
Additionally, the band is on the cusp of their ambitious North American tour in support of Time Will Wait For No One, with 26 dates lined up between mid-August and the end of September. Check out the performance video below, and find the full list of dates here.
