There’s no better way to bring the excitement, intrigue, and complexities of William Shakespeare to the masses than by making two of the hottest (figuratively and physically) actors alive the leads in a brand-new adaptation of one of the Bard’s most famous plays, Macbeth.
Just to prove that the upcoming cinematic interpretation of the Scottish Play—directed by Justin Kurzel (Snowtown)—will be full of beautiful people (Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard star as the, let’s say eccentric, Macbeths) and excellent production values, the Weinstein Company just released new promo shots of the film via Empire.

Macbeth will premiere next month at the Cannes Film Festival.
