If you’ve wandered the grounds at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Voodoo Fest, Firefly, or a handful of other major music festivals over the last decade, chances are you may have stumbled upon an unexpected haven amidst the crowds: The Toyota Music Den. This mini-fest within the fest offers fans an opportunity to witness some of their favorite musicians from the bigger stages perform bonus sets in an intimate setting, partake in unique photo ops, and take home free merch like personalized bucket hats and silk-screened tote bags. Over the years, artists including Dua Lipa, Glass Animals, Local Natives, SOFI TUKKER, and MUNA have made their mark on the Music Den stage.
At this year's annual Outside Lands in San Francisco, the Den was situated in an open-aired setting at the festival’s central point where McLaren Pass meets the Polo Field in Golden Gate Park, offering a scenic natural amphitheater amongst the trees, where artists including Soccer Mommy, Coco & Breezy, Geographer, Poolside, No Vacation, and more played throughout the weekend.
