FLOOD FM and Goldenvoice are proud to announce that we’ve once again teamed up for a special series ahead of the second installment of San Francisco’s Portola music festival. Every Saturday leading up to September 30, the weekend the event is scheduled to take place, we’ll be exclusively playing artists featured at the festival for a full 24 hours on the Portola Radio Takeover. This year the series will also be preceded by special episodes of “Hacked” running all week, which will feature yet-to-be-announced artists performing at the festival as hosts.
The commercial-free “Portola Takeover” series will feature music from the fest’s electronic- and dance-centric roster of artists including Thundercat, Rina Sawayama, Polo & Pan, Jai Paul, Underworld, Major Lazer, Purple Disco Machine, Kenny Beats, Little Simz, Skrillex, Hot Chip, Chromeo, Flying Lotus, Young Fathers, Jockstrap, Model/Actriz, and many more.
