Last week we announced the second annual Portola Radio series on FLOOD FM—in which every Saturday leading up to the event we’ll be exclusively playing tracks by artists performing at the San Francisco festival—along with some other special “Hacked” takeovers to be announced. Picking up where they left off last year, the two-day festival lineup is an impressive array of many of the most innovative and compelling names in the worlds of electronic and dance music.
But it turns out Portola isn’t just about the main event taking place September 30 to October 1 at Pier 80. Goldenvoice has unveiled a full slate of 20 different Portola Week 2023 shows taking place at venues throughout the Bay Area, kicking off with Norwegian electronic trailblazers Röyksopp at The Warfield on September 21 and culminating with Thundercat at San Jose Civic on October 2. Other standouts include Weyes Blood, Purple Disco Machine, Rina Sawayama, 2MANYDJS, Jai Paul, SBTRKT, and The Dare.
Pre-sale tickets for Portola Week events go on sale Monday, August 28 at 12 p.m. PST here. Pre-sale access will be granted to those who have purchased passes to the main festival, though you must buy your Portola pass before August 26 at 11:59 p.m. to receive a unique code for access.
