Collected from the talents of various prominent acts of Sweden, Amason has been globetrotting behind its graceful, expansive pop sound, packaged conveniently for your consumption as Sky City.

Those lucky enough to have seen the quintet touring in support of the debut LP know that the Amason sound translates beautifully with a full arrangement, but when the group recently sat down for an exclusive FLOOD Session, its raw, stripped-down stylings were just as touching.

Case in point: Amason’s stunning rendition of the single “Duvan”—a minimalist treat of bass-oriented guitar, mini-synth textures, and soaring vocals from Amanda Bergman. Sky City, indeed.

Sky City is out now via Fairfax Recordings.
