Big Thief are back with a studio version of their recent live staple “Born for Loving You.” The track was recorded and produced by Dom Monks at Guissona, Spain’s Teatre de cal Eril Studio on a recent tour. The romantic, touching track finds Adrianne Lenker reminiscing on the power of love. She sings, “’Cause I was born for loving you / Just something I was made to do / Doesn’t matter what dreams come true / I was born for loving you.”
“Born for Loving You” is the B-side to another live staple and fan favorite, “Vampire Empire,” which the band debuted live on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this year. Both songs will be released on a single 7-inch vinyl on October 20 via 4AD, available for pre-order here.
