After turning heads this past year with her EPs You Never Met Me and This Kind of Thing Doesn’t Last, Georgia-based songwriter Sydney Rose is officially announcing that her debut full-length One Sided will arrive on November 10 via Public Consumption. And while we’re getting a first taste of the LP today, according to Rose, the Chloe Moriondo–featuring “You’d Be Stars” may not be entirely representative of the record’s remaining track list.

“‘You’d Be Stars’ is definitely one of the happier songs I’ve written,” Rose shares of the new single, a breezy, late-summer exhalation serving as an ode to true friendship and all of its touchstones. “This track is probably the only happy song on One Sided. The album touches on friendship breakups, growing up, and being afraid of change. I wanted this song to focus on the beautiful thing that is female friendship. It’s kind of like a breath of fresh air on the album; a reminder that even though I’ve lost a lot of friends, this kind of friendship still exists.”

Along with the new track comes a video that sees both Rose and Moriondo riding out the remaining days of the season out in the country, engaging in the activities both musicians sing about longingly in their lyrics. Watch the clip below.
