Faye Webster is back with a new single entitled “Lifetime,” a slow-burning track defined by warm piano chords, dusty drums, and nylon-string guitars backing Webster’s lilting voice. A robust bassline and string swells round out the composition as Webster sings, “No conversation / I get you verbatim / In a lifetime.”
The track follows another recent single from Webster, “But Not Kiss.” Both songs serve as appetizers of sorts for Webster’s sold-out tour, which will kick off on October 17 in Washington DC.
