Over the weekend, impossibly likable indie-pop ensemble Alvvays celebrated one year of Blue Rev after gracing our (digital) cover in honor of the anniversary a few days prior. And the celebration continues this week as the group is the latest contributor to FLOOD FM’s “Hacked” series, in which they take over the airwaves throughout the day to spin some of their favorite tunes while providing commentary on some of their picks.
For their episode, Alvvays share a revealing look at some contemporary and classic songs that they are digging , from MJ Lenderman and Sweeping Promies, to Swirlies and Lilys, to Cleaners From Venus and Tobin Sprout. Tune in here to catch the full episode when it airs every day this week (October 9 to 13) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PT on FLOOD FM.
Make sure to also check out our feature with the band—as well as with recent tourmate Maggie Rogers and producer Shawn Everett—here.
