As they wrap up their 20th anniversary co-headlining tour, The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie are keeping the good times going to celebrate their respective 2003 albums in one final, unexpected way. The two Ben Gibbard–led groups have announced a double A-side single that features New Zealanders The Beths and Pickle Darling covering The Postal Service’s “Brand New Colony” and Car Seat Headrest taking on “We Looked Like Giants.”
The Give Up/Transatlanticism 20th Anniversary Tour will come to a close with three nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 13, 15, and 17, with a show at the Santa Barbara Bowl sandwiched in between on October 14.
