Fatboi Sharif and Roper Williams have announced the follow-up to their 2020 collab LP, Gandhi Loves Children. Something About Shirley will arrive February 14 via POW Recordings, and ahead of that date Sharif and Roper have dropped an album trailer. The predictably horrifying clip features a doll (who we guess is Shirley) positioned against a number of unsettling backdrops before she eventually collapses in front of a number of flags at half mast. New York City looms ominously in the background.

Something About Shirley is a journey through emotion, pain, pleasure, addiction, being misunderstood, and everything between,” Sharif shares of the upcoming project. “Looking for a way out and trying to make sense of it all, but unknowing of the final destination, proceding with caution and a open mind.”

To get into the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Sharif also made a mix under his alter ego, DJ PORNO CYBORG. The collection features his favorite love songs, highlighted by tracks from OutKast, Asher Roth, ELUCID, and THEESatisfaction. Check out the trailer below and stream Sharif’s playlist here.
