After half a decade as a multi-instrumentalist for Panic! At the Disco, Dallon Weekes made the pivot to a solo recording project in 2016, with I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME (a.k.a. iDKHOW) releasing its first collection of new-wave-inspired synthpop back in 2020. This Friday will see the release of LP number two, with Gloom Division’s early singles proving less an homage to Ian Curtis and more so experiments in sophisti-pop, glam, and funk-rock.

Leading up to that release date, Weekes recorded a new episode of FLOOD FM’s “Hacked” in which he spins everything from soul group Durand Jones & the Indications to comedian/songwriter Whitmer Thomas, with plenty of upbeat indie-rock figures in between including Phantom Planet and Louis XIV. The episode airs every day this week through Friday, February 23, at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PT only on FLOOD FM.
