Last week, we caught up with Chromeo, who are not only celebrating the release of their sixth collection of synth-funk jams, Adult Contemporary, but also the 20th anniversary of their debut record. Additionally, the duo is gearing up to head to Austin for SXSW this week, where they’ll be playing their only set of the festival at our own FLOODfest showcase on Thursday, March 14, headlining the event with a DJ set.
They’ll also be joining us all week as the guest DJs on a new episode of FLOOD FM’s “Hacked,” as they take over the station to play a mix of recent favorite singles from Vampire Weekend and Justice, deepcut remixes of tracks from artists like Jamiroquai and Le Tigre, as well as a few influences they listed in their chat with us including Sam Gellaitry and Róisín Murphy.
