In just under a month, LCD Soundsystem, The Postal Service, Vampire Weekend, Wu-Tang Clan, Joanna Newson, Jai Paul, Interpol, and many more exciting artists will be infiltrating the Utah State Fairpark & Event Center in Salt Lake City to take the stage at the fifth annual Kilby Block Party on the weekend of May 10. It’s the type of perfectly curated lineup that neither tests your vision nor your indie cred, as the smallest names on the event’s reasonably sized poster—Joanna Sternberg, Gustaf, Hana Vu, Kara Jackson—are worth the price of admission alone.
Needless to say there’s plenty of great music for us to pull from for FLOOD FM’s new weekly listening block “Kilby Block Party Radio.” Every Saturday for the next month, we’ll be spinning nothing but music from the event’s stacked lineup for 24 straight hours of commercial-free radio.
