Fontaines D.C.—sorry, GRAMMY-nominated Fontaines D.C.—are back with a new album called Romance. The project is out on August 23 via XL Records, but first single and video, “Starbuster,” is available now.

The track takes cues from a bevy of influences, creating a truly surprising left turn from the band. Flashes of Moby, Fatboy Slim, Portishead, and Blur are all apparent on the post-trip-hop cut, which, like the entire album, was produced by James Ford. The song was inspired by a panic attack that lead singer Grian Chatten suffered from, and, let me tell you, the gasps for air that are heard throughout the track nearly gave me one, too.

Check out the eerie, Fish-Tank-era-Andrea-Arnold-ass video for “Starbuster” below, and pre-order Romance here.
