While the headlines centered around surprise appearances from figures including Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Childish Gambino, Sky Ferreira, and Paris Hilton, there were 147 other artists actually scheduled to play the annual Coachella festival this year for its first weekend. Many of the best live photographers in the country—including Pooneh Ghana, Ashley Osborn, Charles Reagan, and Quinn Tucker—were holding it down in the photo pits across the sprawling desert festival grounds, documenting all of the happenings from the main stage to the expansive new dance-oriented Quasar stage.
