The two True Detective trailers that surfaced this weekend aren’t heavy on detail. We still don’t know who’s on which side or what, precisely, is wreaking havoc on Nic Pizzolatto’s version of Los Angeles, but we do get a full sixty seconds of Colin Farrell in righteous-cop mode, Vince Vaughn draping himself in a thousand-yard stare, and Rachel McAdams seemingly trying to hold the whole city together. And of course, those beautiful, ominous tracking shots of L.A.
