The 22nd edition of the annual Primavera Sound festival took over the Parc del Fòrum seafront grounds in Barcelona, Spain this past weekend, with their typically far-reaching lineup showcasing everyone from legends PJ Harvey and Pulp to contemporary superstars SZA and Lana Del Rey to emerging artists Mannequin Pussy and The Last Dinner Party. Sometimes called the Coachella of Europe (sans the celebrity spotting and marketing trends), the festival attracts fans and artists from all parts of the world, and once again was a reminder as to why it’s one of the most beloved of all music festivals.
