HEALTH have come through with another exciting remix, this time in the form of RAT WARS standout “ASHAMED.” The track now features vocals from Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES. Mayberry and HEALTH singer Jake Duzsik go bar for bar, turning the industrial banger into some weird future-pop opus. When Duzsik sings “I’m ashamed of being born”? I felt that.
Yesterday HEALTH was revealed as a part of Riot Fest’s 2024 lineup, and earlier this week KEXP released the band’s “Live on KEXP” session, which features renditions of RAT WARS tracks “UNLOVED” and “ASHAMED,” as well as the Cyberpunk 2077 single “Major Crimes” and their cover of Deftones’ “Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away).” Check that out here, and find the new version of “ASHAMED” below.
