RECAP: De Lux Gets the Sayers Club Moving for Latest Red Bull Sound Select Show

Hometown indie darlings De Lux rang in FLOOD magazine’s inaugural Red Bull Sound Select showcase, headlining the intimate show at Hollywood’s exclusive Sayers Club. The upbeat, dance-infused punk was a perfect end-of-summer pick-me-up. Isaac Rother & The Phantoms hosted the evening along with Red Bull Sound Select artists Incan Abraham, who set a perfect mood with their signature dream-daze pop. As they’re known to do, De Lux put on an explosive performance, getting lost in the music and feeding off the energy and love from the crowd, kicking the night off with crowd favorite “Better at Making Time” and continued to fill the rest of the set list performing much of their recent debut release Voyage. The club was packed with lucky fans that got their $3 tickets thanks to an RSVP ahead of time; lush leather couches and mood lighting set a unique environment for a night full of amazing performances.
