San Francisco’s Sjowgren are truly a modern band, given the fact that they’ve amassed millions of streams on Spotify without yet playing a single show or releasing an album—or their identities. Behind their Instagram page, the second link that materializes when you google them is a still-active Reddit post from two years ago speculating on their identities (as one user points out, the only picture that yields any results on a search is actually the band Bad Bad Hats).

With only a series of singles to their name, we’re getting another small piece of the puzzle today with the trio joining us for a new episode of FLOOD FM’s “Hacked” all week. Splitting their music picks between contemporary indie hits (Jessica Pratt, Porches) and ’90s favorites (Souls of Mischief, Fatboy Slim), learn more about the music that influences them every day this week (July 29 to August 2) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PT only on FLOOD FM.
