Lollapalooza has taken on many incarnations over the years. Aside from the fest’s founder Perry Farrell still making the rounds, not much else remains from it’s free-spirited alternative rock heyday as a traveling festival. Pop music now reigns supreme at the annual four-day fest in Chicago’s Grant Park—sure, Blink-182 and The Killers were booked for headlining sets, but it was the likes of Chappell Roan, Reneé Rapp, Tate McRae, and K-pop stars Stray Kids, among others, attracting the most fanfare this year.
