Michael Kiwanuka has teamed up with New Orleans–based director Phillip Youmans for a music video to accompany his recent single “Floating Parade.” On the track, which was produced by Danger Mouse and SAULT’s Inflo, Kiwanuka’s voice practically floats over the ’70s soul percussion and funk bass line cooked up by the beatmakers.
The new accompanying visual is a stunning portrait of everyday people being moved by the power of nature, art, and community. In addition to the clip, Kiwanuka has announced that he’ll be heading out on a tour with Brittany Howard this coming September.
