Earlier this week, a group of 55 Harley Davidson bikers took a bust of the late Motörhead frontman Lemmy to Nottingham Rock City where the statue was filled with his ashes. On Monday, the crew of bikers took the bust from the Bloodstock Open Air festival at Catton Park, Derbyshire to Nottingham Rock City, where Lemmy and his band played 10 shows from 1987 to 2006. The bust will remain there until August of 2025, when it will return to Bloodstock.

“It’s been a very emotional weekend for all involved in the ‘Lemmy Forever’ tribute at Bloodstock,” said the heavy metal fest’s co-director Vicky Hungerford, as reported by Blabbermouth. “The send-off today with 55 Harley Davidsons taking the bust to Rock City in the Bloodstock truck was the finale to a superb weekend of tributes to our rock god Lem.”
