Don’t look now, folks, but Jordana is in space. The LA-based songwriter ended up there somehow in an effort to promote her new album, Lively Premonition. Imagine that. One day you’re just living the high life in LA, CA, and the next you’re performing “Anything for You” on Mars like you’re Matt freaking Damon or something.
The clip for “Anything for You” finds Jordana wandering through a lunar landscape before a transmission error sends things into limbo and the singer may or may not be stranded in this otherworldly landscape that’s probably actually somewhere in Southern California. Jordana sings: “Many would turn to few / ‘Baby, my love’ I’d once called you.”
Jordana reported to Houston to offer up this statement on the song: “‘Anything for You’ is a break-up song. It’s a song about attempting to find yourself again after someone has depleted the energy you had in your soul. You are searching for a new self, or aiming to recover what once was there.”
