Steve Wynn has plenty of irons in the fire at the moment: Following the release of his fourth album with members of R.E.M. as The Baseball Project last summer, he returned to his primary role as frontman of Paisley Underground figureheads The Dream Syndicate to release a live album back in February. Since then, he’s not only revealed his first solo album since 2012 with Make It Right, but also his debut memoir, I Wouldn’t Say It If It Wasn’t True—both of which will be the focus of his month-long tour kicking off next week at NYC’s City Winery.
Leading up to that trek, Wynn filmed a “Neighborhoods” session in his home borough of Queens. Strolling past a park before settling in front of a food truck, the songwriter gives a hearty solo rendition of his new album’s title track on acoustic guitar.
