I know what you’re thinking. “Whaaaaa, Faye Webster just released Underdressed at the Symphony back in March! She already has a new song out?” Stop complaining! New music rocks. The single arrives as Faye wraps up her Underdressed at the Symphony tour, so perhaps it’s something of a celebratory “Yay, tour is over!” track.

“After the First Kiss” features a shuffling drum groove and pensive piano chords. Nylon-string guitar dances between the melody as Webster’s signature drawl enters the fray. A beautiful string suite gives the song some serious class. You can tell that this song wears a tuxedo to black-tie-optional weddings.

The music video for the track was directed by regular collaborator and Brain Dead founder Kyle Ng, and features plenty of LARPing—in case you were wondering what Faye’s gonna get up to now that the tour is ending. Check it out below.
