In case you missed it, every festival and its mother took place last weekend, with photo recaps of Portola, Soundside, and two All Things Go events landing on our homepage over the course of this week. Additionally, Dana Point, California’s Ohana Festival took place as well, with its focus on stories and environmental causes counterbalancing the on-stage ruckus created this year by Devo, IDLES, Breeders, Kim Gordon, festival co-founders Pearl Jam, and more.
Occupying a slightly lower tier of the lineup poster—yet just as much space—is the lengthily named Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, the Australian quartet of pop-punk ragers who recently re-released their blistering debut for American audiences (with the addition of a new track featuring The Linda Lindas). As part of the celebration of their US invasion, the band took the stage over the weekend in Dana Point to win over new fans—and we got a sneak peek backstage post-performance, chronicled in the brief photo diary. Check out those pics, as well as a few live shots taken by photographer Molly Hudelson.
