After a recent run of solo dates and festival appearances at the end of last month, Pete Yorn is continuing to promote his latest album, the country-tinged The Hard Way, with a performance slated for next Thursday, October 17, at LA’s GRAMMY Museum with host Matt Pinfield additionally leading a conversation with the artist. This comes in the wake of last week’s “live-to-acetate” performance at Third Man Records, which will eventually see the live set pressed to vinyl. Oh, he was also in a Scorsese movie last fall.
As the unconventional promo parade continues, we gave Yorn access to the FLOOD FM dials for a new episode of “Hacked” in which the songwriter queues up favorite songs by everyone from Dylan and Springsteen to Daft Punk and Foster the People. Catch the episode every day this week (October 7 – 11) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PT only on FLOOD FM. Additionally, you can find tickets and more info on the GRAMMY Museum show here.
