LA beat maestro Flying Lotus has tickled fans with a delightful new single entitled “Ingo Swann,” which, alongside August’s Twin Peaks–alluding “Garmonbozia,” serve as his first solo music since 2021’s Yasuke (not counting 2022’s Ozzy’s Dungeon soundtrack). The two tracks share similar artwork, so perhaps something is brewing.

The new cut is a shimmering slice of grooving dance music built around simple synth melodies and metallic hi hats that gives the song its rhythmic edge. Balearic house music influences abound. Did someone say Ibiza?

Per a press release, Flying Lotus—perhaps channeling The Giant, with Lynch in mind—has stated that “It is happening again.” Whatever it is? Hell yeah. Check out “Ingo Swann” below.
