MF DOOM’s contemporary-classic Mm..Food will be reissued by Rhymesayers next month to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The announcement was shared alongside the reveal of a new Madlib remix of “One Beer” (it’s a mega-flex to remix your own production, but if anyone’s allowed to mega-flex, it’s Madlib—I don’t make the rules!). On the new cut, the LA producer strips the track to its essential core, re-contextualizing the landscape in which DOOM raps.
The digital deluxe version of Mm..Food will feature the original tracklist plus remixes of “One Beer” and “Hoe Cakes” by the aforementioned Madlib, Jake One, and Atmosphere’s Ant, alongside unreleased MF DOOM interview clips.
