Sure, Miguel might be garnering all kinds of Prince comparisons this week with the release of Wildheart, but that doesn’t mean that the world isn’t big enough for two mono-monikered R&B stars. Not if the Purple One has anything to say about it, at least. This morning, Prince dropped “HARDROCKLOVER,” a noisy, slinky slow-burner he put together with 3RDEYEGIRL. The song finds him lurking through the verses like an American version of The Weeknd before he explodes into the chorus. “You better cover your ears, ’cause you’re about to hear a woman just scream!” he sings.
