Michael B. Jordan is once again teaming up with Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler—this time for a spinoff of the Rocky franchise entitled Creed, in which the actor portrays Adonis, the son of former heavyweight world-champion Apollo Creed.
In the new trailer—which, you’ll be relieved to know, features at least two sweatsuit jogging scenes—Sylvester Stallone reprises the character of Rocky Balboa for the seventh time and takes the son of his late friend and former rival under his wing. Plot details are sparse, but it’s a pretty safe bet that the story arc will include Jordan’s character digging deep within himself to overcome adversity against all odds. Oh, and punching. Lots of punching
Creed will hit the big screen November 25.
