Another year of the two-weekend Austin City Limits festival is in the history books, highlighted by Chappell Roan’s last shows of the year, Dua Lipa’s sizzling headlining sets, and two surprise appearances from Willie Nelson. Our unflappable father-and-daughter duo Daniel and Ryder Blue Cavazos survived the triple-digits heatwave of ACL 2024, documenting the best live sets from the event, as well as the general festival atmosphere.

When they weren’t traipsing across the sprawling Zilker Park festival grounds, they teamed up backstage to capture behind-the-scenes portraits with Mannequin Pussy, Royel Otis, Cannons, Chaparelle (the new trio fronted by Zella Day), St. Lucia, and more. Check out their shots below.
