The annual When We Were Young nostalgia fest returned to Las Vegas this past weekend, with the same lineup of mostly 2000s-era emo, pop-punk, and metalcore bands performing on both Saturday and Sunday. FLOOD photographer Skylar Watkins was there both days to capture extensive live coverage, in addition to finding time to connect with many of the fest’s artists backstage for polaroids.
While news ran rampant that the festival’s merch was filled with band name typos (“New and Glory” don’t appear to mind), we’re pretty certain we got these right since the bands signed their polaroids themselves. Check out the shots below, and see our full coverage from WWWY 2024 here.
