You may have heard that there’s an election taking place in five days, one that will define a lot about our country for the next four years—and likely far beyond that. And while the eternal chorus of “vote!” has been chiming for months now, soulful rockers Grace Bowers & the Hodge Podge are echoing that sentiment with a new video for the track “Madame President” (which could really only refer to one of the two mainstream-party candidates) from their recently released debut album Wine on Venus

Directed by Athena Kulb, the clip like the song itself foregoes preachiness in favor of an honest look at small-town life. Yet in under three minutes it still becomes perfectly clear which of the two candidates have these individuals’ best interests at heart. “‘Madame President’ is a song that discusses many issues of our times I’d like to see changed,” guitarist and band leader Bowers shares. “I thought it was important to show everyday people in our community and how they come together.”

Check out the clip below, and—need we say it—vote.
