Yasiin Bey, widely known by his former rap name Mos Def, has announced a livestream concert entitled “Money Christmas,” during which he’ll debut his first new solo music in five years. The show is set for December 15 via Bandcamp and will cost $7.99 to attend. After the show, the video and downloadable tracks will be available via the purchase of a QR code shared in conjunction with merch (it’s unclear if items must be purchased to receive the code, or if it can be purchased on its own). The material will also be released on vinyl in the coming months.
