Yesterday, Reddit sleuths discovered that there’s a billboard on Sunset Boulevard in LA’s Echo Park that reveals the lineup for the 2025 edition of Just Like Heaven. Outside of this unofficial announcement, plans for the 2025 edition of the festival have remained under wraps. The lineup includes performances by a typical albeit still exciting slate of artists for the ’00s-indie-centric Pasadena festival, including Vampire Weekend, Bloc Party, TV on the Radio, and, most intriguingly, a reunion set from beloved Jenny Lewis band Rilo Kiley. The very special band Slowdive is also billed as a “very special guest.”
While the fest has yet to address the billboard (they haven’t posted anything on their social media channels since December), it’s likely they were using it to announce the festival, then backed away once the tragic fires across Los Angeles began spreading. For now? Sit tight and buy some recently released Rilo Kiley merch as we wait to see if JLH will still proceed with its planned May 10 event date.
