If there's one thing we've learned from the devastating fires that swept our hometown, it's that a lot of people here give a fuck about helping each other. Amidst the trauma, the LA community has stepped up in innumerable ways to help out our neighbors that were impacted, as we work towards a long road to recovery and rebuilding. The music community especially has really come together, with countless benefit shows, auctions, compilation albums, merch sales—and, of course the superstar-driven FireAid concerts at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome—all to support LA fire relief causes.
Now enter G*VE A F*CK LA. The just-announced benefit concert and auction on Wednesday, February 5 at Hollywood Palladium will feature a head-spinning array of so many outright awesome music luminaries from LA and beyond, including St. Vincent, Hayley Williams, MUNA, Perfume Genius, Courtney Barnett, FINNEAS, Courtney Barnett, Lucy Dacus, Jenny Lewis, The Linda Lindas, Christopher Owens, Phantom Planet, Fred Armisen, Juliette Lewis, Kevin Morby, Reggie Watts, Rostam & Sasami, Scout Willis, Symone, and more special guests. Presented by Milk Makeup, the event will be hosted by John C. Reilly, along with DJ sets from Fat Tony and Harmony Tividad, and a plant-based food drive in partnership with Support + Feed.
100% of net ticket proceeds will benefit local organizations Altadena Girls, Friends in Deed, One Voice, and Pasadena Humane Society, with all venue and ticketing service fees waived for the event by Live Nation, Ticketmaster and the Palladium.
