Lucy Dacus has released “Talk,” the fourth track to be taken from her new album, Forever Is a Feeling. On the new single, Dacus begins by crooning over acoustic guitar and buzzing synths before introducing crunching drums and layers of harmonies. During the chorus she sings: “Why can’t we talk anymore? / We used to talk for hours / Do I make you nervous or bored? / Or did I drink you to the last drop?”
Dacus’ tour in support of Forever Is a Feeling begins in Philadelphia on April 16, with support from jasmine.4.t and MUNA’s Katie Gavin. Check out “Talk” below, and pre-order Forever is a Feeling before it arrives March 28 via Geffen Records here.
