Noah Cyrus has teamed up with Fleet Foxes for one of the more unexpected collabs of the year. The piano-led cut features some delightful harmonies from Cyrus and the Fleet Fox himself Robin Pecknold, cruising along before the song blooms into a folk-rock ballad. “Don’t Put It All on Me” was written by Noah’s brother, Braison, making the cut a real family affair.

“I want my music to offer fans a sense of comforting, peaceful nostalgia,” Cyrus shared of the track, noting that it introduces a new chapter in her musical career. “That’s something that I feel so heavily when I listen to music. We all want to connect with our past while also being aware of the present moment. Music does that for me, and this new collection of songs was made with that in mind. I want to evoke that feeling of a comforting friend that a song can be—and allow us all to heal.”
